You need a copper cylinder for each printing colour. After the plastic take-away bags have been printed, they are machine-punched and sealed. This printing technique is a relatively expensive printing technique but gives the best printing result on the plastic take away bags. The minimum print run for plastic take away bags is 2,000 pieces.

Ecological plastic take away bags

Plastic take away bags are fully recyclable, so that the plastic material can be reused for other plastic products. Because the plastic material is water-repellent, it is very suitable for reuse and for this reason can also be called sustainable. We also produce plastic take away bags made from recycled plastic or bio-based plastic. Bio-based plastic is made from natural raw materials instead of petroleum sources. These bags may therefore be disposed of with the residual waste.

Material of plastic take away bags

Plastic take-away bags are made from plastic foil. This foil is made of plastic granulate, which looks like small grains and can be made in different types and colours of plastic material. The most common plastic material for take away bags is LDPE foil. LDPE stands for Low-DensityPolyEthylene. This is a soft, shiny and flexible material. LDPE can be produced in transparent, white or in a PANTONE® colour. Do you prefer a more matte appearance? Then choose MDPE or HDPE foil. This material feels stiffer. The thickness of the plastic take away bags varies between 50 m and 120 mu.

Models of plastic take away bags

The plastic take away bags are available in various designs. The most common variant is provided with two sealed plastic loops. This is comfortable to hold when the bag is filled with, for example, candy boxes. Another option is to provide the bag with a punched-out handle. Please note that you will lose approximately 10 cm of the net height. It is common to produce plastic take away bags with a bottom and side gusset so that it has a lot of depth for placing meal boxes at the bottom of the bag.
