In honor of the 30th anniversary of FF-PACKAGING, we went on a weekend trip to Rotterdam together with colleagues and their partners. It was a pleasant and fully organized anniversary weekend focused on togetherness, relaxation, and enjoyment.
Departure towards the port city
On Friday, May 15, we departed by coach to Rotterdam. The day started well with an extensive and well-prepared breakfast, after which everyone received a beautiful bag filled with practical and tasty surprises. A wonderful start to a special weekend. After taking a new group photo, we departed for our first destination in Rotterdam.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed on the rooftop terrace of the former V&D building, where coffee, tea, and pastries were waiting for us. While enjoying these treats, we had a beautiful view over Rotterdam.
From this location, the group was divided, with everyone having chosen their own activity in advance.
Discovering Rotterdam
The first group took an extensive city tour with the RET and visited several highlights of Rotterdam. The other group explored the city together with a guide through the Markthal, visited the famous Cube Houses, and walked through the Old Harbour.
By water taxi, we continued our route to the iconic Hotel New York, where we also stayed overnight. The trip across the water alone provided a true Rotterdam experience.
Free time and a pleasant evening
After a delicious lunch, everyone had the opportunity to further explore Rotterdam at their own pace. Afterwards, we checked into the hotel and got ready for a pleasant evening. The evening took place at Jack Rotterdam, where delicious food, entertainment, a DJ, and a saxophonist created a fantastic atmosphere. It became an evening full of fun, music, and wonderful memories.
Impressive visit to the Maasvlakte
After a short night, we were already ready early the next morning to depart for the Maasvlakte. An impressive location where the true scale of the Port of Rotterdam really becomes visible.
From here, we took a boat tour around the Maasvlakte and saw the enormous container ships up close. What made it even more special was the realization that part of our own products also enter the Netherlands through this route.
A weekend to remember
The anniversary weekend concluded at Breezze, a cozy beach club where we enjoyed a delicious lunch together before heading back home.
We look back on a highly successful and special weekend in which every detail had been thoughtfully arranged. These were days filled with fun, togetherness, and beautiful moments shared with colleagues and partners.
A wonderful way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of FF-PACKAGING together and to create memories that will last for a long time.
