We had the pleasure of producing three different bags for The Curlbar in Maastricht. All bags are printed with Scrunch, the hair care brand founded by Lynn Wouters. We supplied luxury paper bags with knotted ribbon handles, gift bags with a flap closure and die-cut handle, and black canvas bags featuring the quote "You look so cool".
After delivery, we stopped by The Curlbar to personally thank Lynn for this wonderful project. It's always great to see how packaging becomes part of a brand and contributes to the experience customers take home after visiting the salon.
About The Curlbar and Scrunch
The Curlbar is a specialised curly hair salon located in the centre of Maastricht. Owner Lynn Wouters has nearly ten years of experience in the hairdressing industry and has fully specialised in cutting and caring for curly hair. She received advanced training in the United States and Dubai, among other locations.
Driven by her passion for curls, Lynn also developed her own hair care brand, Scrunch. The products are specially formulated for different curl types and are available in the salon. That is why all bags feature the Scrunch logo, creating packaging that perfectly complements the products customers take home after their treatment or purchase.
Three bags, one recognisable look
Luxury paper bags
For everyday purchases, The Curlbar uses luxury paper bags with knotted ribbon handles. The bags feature the Scrunch logo and are used to package hair care products. Their premium appearance and sturdy construction perfectly match both the salon and the Scrunch brand.
Gift bags with flap closure
In addition to the paper bags, we also produced gift bags with a flap closure and die-cut handle. These bags are ideal for gift sets, special promotions and premium product combinations. The flap closure provides an elegant presentation and makes the products ready to give as a gift.
Canvas bags with a quote
The third design is a black canvas bag featuring the Scrunch logo and the quote "You look so cool". It perfectly reflects the brand's identity. Because canvas bags are often reused for a long time, customers continue to promote Scrunch long after visiting The Curlbar.
