From renovation to relocation
You must have noticed that we are now working from our new office. This office is located directly opposite our old office. However, before we could move, a lot had to be done - in terms of sustainability, workspace, and the appearance of the building. With this major renovation behind us, we are more than ready for the future! We would like to tell you everything that has happened in the past few months.
Underfloor heating and new roofing
Both the roof and the floor are optimally insulated, reducing heat loss. Underfloor heating ensures even distribution of heat, resulting in lower energy consumption. The new roofing is expected to last for another 20 years and was prepared for the installation of solar panels.

Heat Pump
We have completely eliminated gas usage and generate our own heat with the installed heat pump.

LED Lighting
All lights inside and around the building are energy-efficient LEDs. Many lights are equipped with timers to prevent unnecessary long-term lighting.

Solar Panels and Batteries
Currently, we are in the process of installing solar panels and energy storage systems. Due to the overloaded power grid, we decided to install batteries. These batteries store the generated electricity from the solar panels. Additionally, we can purchase and store electricity at times when it's most cost-effective and when the power grid is less burdened. A win-win!

Renovation
In addition to these major sustainable investments, we have also made an effort to renovate with consideration for people and the environment.

We believe it's important to support local businesses in addition to using sustainable materials. That's why the renovation was carried out by local companies. For example, for the reception area and the logistics office extension.
Everything from installing the kitchen, setting up the electrical network, laying fiber-optic cables, creating the beautiful garden and landscaping, to making the cabinets and furniture, was done by local businesses.
Workspace and Comfort
We have taken several measures to improve working comfort. The walls and ceilings have extra soundproofing. There is a cozy cafeteria. Multiple meeting rooms are available for client meetings. The chairs in the meeting rooms are made of comfortable felt, created from recycled PET bottles, and we have a spacious showroom to showcase our product range. The serene view of the forest edge and Veluwemeer makes working here pleasant!
